We found the helpers.

Today, hundreds of people showed up to #HistoricBuenaVista and surrounding neighborhoods in #NorthNashville to prove why we call ourselves the #VolunteerState. Thousands upon thousands of pounds of debris from impacted areas were moved by hands of the young and old and set in organized piles for the hardworking folks of Metropolitan Nashville Department of Public Works to move out of our neighborhood. Hundreds of people also donated goods to that will be distributed to our neighbors in need in 37208 #Nashville. If you didn’t know already, today we proved that we will come together to serve anyone and all who need.

I am proud of our people and this city. We have proven today that #WeAreNashville and we are indeed #NashvilleStrong.
