YOU HAVE A STORY TO TELL.
Stories have been implanted in us since we were young—we have read good books, seen great movies, attended thought-provoking theatre. As humans, we want to work through stories and see our lived experiences through story. Ever since human beings sat around the fires in caves, we’ve told stories to help us deal with the dread of life and the struggle to survive. Our stories engender a positive but realistic energy in people who want to hear. It is how we as humans attempt to understand and remember. This is how we weather the storms.
“We are the narratives of the narratives, the stories of the stories, and the human not behind the numbers, but in front of them.” - Ahmed Badr
Our stories and lived experiences from this past year, have the opportunity to challenge our assumptions about our lives and reaffirm our faith in human resilience.
